Langston Hughes’ Black Nativity, a cherished tradition in Boston, is again offered as a gift from the city’s black community to all people of “good will.” Produced by the National Center of Afro-American Artists (NCAAA) since 1970, its cast of children and adults never fails to lift our hearts as beautiful voices rise in glee and joy. Join the tens of thousands who have seen Black Nativity and have come to love its gospel music and dramatic dancing recalling the birth of the Christ Child.

NCAAA, a non-profit organization, was founded in Boston to annunciate the artistic heritage and contributions of Black people to world culture. Black Nativity, part of the living legacy of Dr. Elma Lewis, is a vital expression of that heritage. Visit us at blacknativity.org and ncaaa.org respectively.

Join our 2024 sponsorship program where your contribution sustains the of gift of hope in people of “good will.”
