Where Commerce and Culture Connects
The Tremont Crossing Project (P-3) will feature a mix of vertically-stacked retail (anchored by BJs Wholesale Club on the second floor), small stores and restaurants fronting on Tremont Street, 200,000 square feet of medical and educational office space, 300 market rate apartment units, 800 beds of University Housing, a 175 room select-service hotel and a brand new museum for the National Center for Afro America Artists (NCAAA).
A 1,600 car parking garage and large public plaza complete with outdoor art, events and public seating will tie all the uses together. Designed by the renowned firms of Cambridge Seven Associates and Stull and Lee, the entire project will be designed in an urban style that will be modern, sophisticated, environmentally-conscious and pedestrian-friendly.[pdf-embedder url=”http://ncaaa.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/Tremont-Crossing-IAG-Presentation-2016-02-18.pdf”]
